Busy and Quiet, all at the same time

The busy part, well.. I helped in the rehoming of a labrador, cleaned the stove, made fudge, went into the local township and had the brianwave of visiting the thrift store to buy books… and noticed they had some good quality wool sweaters, which were hardly worn.
So I’m pulling them apart and recycling the yarn(s). For $3 a jersey, it’s not a bad deal!

And then a trip out to a prospective site for Plan Woolly. It has potential but I need to see some paperwork 🙂

Oh – and I finally learnt how to cast-on properly.
Just because I needed another hobby. And also – knitting doesn’t seem to hurt my hands as much.
So until I can be back to crocheting for hours on end… we’re experiementing with knitting. That said, the pile of squares are now all joined and are one border row away from being finished.

Anyway – daylight savings ends tonight so an extra hour of sleep – or insomnia, whichever comes first.
hugs to you all!

  3. Yum fudge!! I try to switch between knitting and crocheting in order to avoid wrist pain. I’ve realized I enjoy knitting much more than crochet, but love how fast crocheting goes!!

Enjoy your extra hour, no matter what you are doing!! Hugs!
