Another Big Decision

There comes many a moment in your life, when you have to make a choice.

Sometimes it’s simple: ” what do you want for dinner?”

Sometimes it’s more complex: “Which is more important? buying this yarn or eating for the rest of the week?”

 We’ve seen some big decisions on this blog in the past four months. I’ve made up my mind to leave Darwin. To chose a new job.. to relocate…

And last night, came another tough decision.

See – I bought Pirates of the Caribbean 3 on DVD the other day and I havent had a chance to see it yet. And last night.. despite wanting to make the homerun rows on the Purple and Black Mohair squares……

Even I am not good enough to be able to crochet dark purple mohair onto black mohair by LCDscreenlight.

So… the choice was… crochet or… Johnny Depp.

Yeah.. it was tough.

I tried.

I really did.

There was some small froggings happening.

And I realised that unless I wanted an ALMIGHTY GREAT SPACE TOAD on my hands… I had to change my priorities.

Wait – I dropped my brain!”

Hah!

 So still slightly damp from the evening rain : The days are developing a pattern that results in, inevitably, me being soaked to the skin by the end of the day. Fortunately last night I was able to combine insommnia with PotC3 and all was well.. 

  See – the parking line is awash…

There is progress to show you on the purpleness however

 three more short rows and then its BORDERTIME!!!

In news just to hand: for those who are following the Australian election: it looks very much like David Tollner, member for  Solomon in the NT may just be able to claw his way back!! Woo Hoo!!!!

I see that we also have some new voices today who have appeared out of the Lurk!!! Very big welcome!!! please feel free to join in at any time.

M_F and Kris…. ok.. yes… .. I know…. but……. I just wanted to know where/how he was… I didnt tell him anything.. he doesnt read the blog….

And Kris I will answer your email just as soon as they round up a new Internet carrier for us as our dish got nuked last night in the storm.
